The project is strategically located at Seef District and consists of three main buildings: a chancery, a multi- purpose hall and the ambassador residence; all are linked by courtyards that create a sense of arrival as well as to be used for ceremonial purposes.
In developing the design concept of the project, site accessibility, land utilization, and functional relationships were carefully assessed.
The outcome is an embassy which efficiently translates the vision and objectives of the project in terms of identifying the functional and spatial interrelationships of the various components of each building, understanding the protocol and security aspects, and allowing for a unique architecture to flourish inspired by the rich heritage of the Sudanese architecture blending with the local Bahraini architecture.
The project is a clear statement befitting the Sudan Embassy in the Kingdom of Bahrain and symbolizing the strong relationships between the two countries.
