Three groups of adjacent plots located within the old urban fabric of Muharraq. Haneen 1, 2 & 3 form the first group, Haneen 4 stands alone, while 5, 6 & 7 are clustered together; the three group are near each other.
The historical site context imposes tremendous complexities in terms of design and site construction. However, these were untangled by proper assessment of building conditions to preserve the architectural value and to add the rest without imposition and distortion.
As for the site operation, all measures of safety are taken inducing proper support of structures, proper screening, and skilled labor. Despite the separation of the 3 groups, they function in a complementary manner aiming to provide a taste of the old charm to the visitors and recreate a testimony of traditional architecture that is simple, serene and attractive.
