A state palace located on an island of 38,000 sq.m and with a total built-up area of 4,500 sq.m. The site layout takes advantage of the site by locating the building at one corner near the sea for maximum views and by developing an interesting landscape and efficient road network.
Functions are organized in three floors. Basement for the services that linked to upper floors at the appropriate locations to prevent cross circulation. The ground floor helps to organize facility in three interconnected sections; family living at the nodal point, guest section on one side and en-suite bedrooms on the other. Each section is provided with a separate entrance. This arrangement helps also to embrace open courtyards by using arcade.
The upper floor is for family private living and sleeping functions. The architecture is inspired by Moroccan style, and all elements combined to provide a testimony of grandness and opulence.
